Surrey RCMP are searching for a man who hasn’t been heard from or seen since yesterday and are now asking the public for help in finding him.
62-year-old Michael Fontaine left his home in the 2000 block of 156 street between 8am and 6pm, now his family is concerned for him as he has a medical condition and is without his medication.
He walks very slowly and is unstable on his feet so he uses a burgundy wood cane.
Police say it is very unusual for him to be away from home this long, and believe he is still close to the area.
Fontaine is a Caucasian male, 5’10 and 165 pounds with grey hair and blue eyes. He wears glasses and has a scruffy beard.
He’s believed to be wearing dark coloured sweat pants, black vest and a dark hoodie with blue slip on shoes.
Anyone who sees Fontaine is asked to call 911 immediately.
