It’s all things wine down at the Vancouver Convention Centre this weekend for the Vancouver International Wine Festival.
Speaking on Tasting Room Radio with Terry David Mulligan this morning, wine diva Daenna van Mulligen says despite a growth of popularity from other wines in Ontario and elsewhere across the country, we’re still not seeing more wines in tasting lists here in BC.
“It just isn’t happening,” she says. “We do drink our own wine here, but there is so much fantastic stuff that I think people don’t know about in Ontario, smaller producers, every year I go, I hear something new, I think that maybe if they get a chance to try some of the wines here, that we might see that happen.”
The wine festival is on until Sunday.
