Surrey RCMP is pleased to advise that the owner of the camera filled with wedding photos, that was located this past April in a suspicious vehicle, has been identified.

The police would like to thank the public and media for all their help.

Lots of precious memories have been stolen for a couple. Surrey RCMP is asking for the public’s help in finding the owner of a camera filled with wedding photos.

On April 29th, 2017  Surrey RCMP were notified of a suspicious vehicle in the 1800 block of 160th Street. Officers attended and traced the vehicle along with stolen items.

One of the items located was a DSLR camera with a SD card containing photos of a young couple’s wedding.

Officers have attempted to return the items to their rightful owners, however, they have not had any luck in finding the owner of the camera.

Via a release, Sgt Dale Carr with the Surrey RCMP says “If you recognize anyone in these photos, please call the police so we can reunite the owner with their camera and photos of this special day”.

Anyone with more information is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP.
