Vancouver’s own Stefan Elliott makes Canada’s Olympic Hockey Team

Canada’s Olympic Hockey team has just been unveiled, and Vancouver’s very own Stefan Elliott has made the cut.

He will play defence for the men’s team, which will compete to win gold again next month in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

The 26-year-old has participated in the 2017 Channel One Cup as well as the 2017 Tournament of Nikolai Puchkov.

All of those selected to play for the team are associated with minor hockey league teams after the NHL declined to participate for the first time since 1994.
