Shauna Sylvester, director of Simon Fraser University’s Centre for Dialogue, is one of the candidates for the office of the Mayor of Vancouver, and she discusses her platform, involvement in advocacy work and how she would change the way government works, should she be elected.
” I have helped in setting up radio stations in developing countries to give women a voice,” said Shauna Sylvester, independent candidate f0r the office of the Mayor of Vancouver and she hopes to get people involved in the city.
“Vancouver is a city of social innovation and people have to see a government that is working for them.”
